Made for Echsorbix® ceiling baffles
The kit hangs our acoustic ceiling baffles, PET felt in 9 mm and 18 mm, 4 x 1 ft and 4 x 2 ft. Hung vertically from the ceiling, baffles expose more surface area to sound energy.
Layout depends on ceiling height and the acoustic goal. Proper alignment and spacing give uniform results across the room, and the baffles are light enough not to overload the ceiling when properly installed.
Soundproofing: the fix for every sound problem
3-layer soundproofing
- 1
Layer 1: SoundBlanket® MLV
The dense barrier that isolates sound and stops it passing through walls, ceilings and floors.
- 2
Layer 2: BassBloc®
High-density sound absorber over the MLV that controls low-frequency noise.
- 3
Layer 3: Echsorbix®, SoundaXe® or WDWL®
The final acoustic finish: Echsorbix® PET felt, SoundaXe® wooden acoustics or WDWL® wood wool panels.
Layer 2 can also be covered with gypsum or cement board before adding the final acoustic layer.
Different thickness in each layer will give different STC and NRC levels.
